So, succulents have become one of my new favorite decoration accessories. They are inexpensive, fairly easy to take care of (I have learned a couple things along the way) and really beautiful. The texture, the different colors, and what you put them in can add a lot to a room with minimal cost. I have been admiring some of the remade terrariums but didn’t want to pay the price of those—especially because I wanted multiple ones.
I had some large mason jars and vases on hand so I decided to put them to use. I went to Lowes and picked up different types of succulents and got the potting soil and sand. I then went to the park and found some rocks. I believe this project was right at $50.
The first step was to put some rocks and sand at the bottom of the containers, then put some soil on top of it, then, plant the succulents and add some rocks and you are done! How easy is that?
I think they turned out quite lovely!
Side note: Water your indoor succulents with a spray bottle. It will prevent you from over watering.
